Born in Ukraine and currently living in South East London, Maria Mihailik is a young folk artist. Recently graduating from studying music at the BRIT School, her sets consist of a mix of classic folk covers and original material. 

 

Maria is regularly performing at intimate venues and fairs around London, recently having played at the Camden Assembly, Star in Shoreditch, and the Lantern Society folk night among others. She has also performed alongside the Brixton Chamber Orchestra last July for their Summer estates tour.

 

She is currently in the process of recording her debut EP. She has released a demo of one of the tracks, Constant Stranger, to SoundCloud, which is a more stripped back and analog taster of the sound of the project she has in the works.
